1st Annual Spring Neighborhood Yard Sale

Mark your calendars for the 1st annual Lake Ridge Swim Team (LRST) – Lake Ridge Community Swim Club (LRCSC) Parking Lot Garage and Yard Sale. The Lancers and the Swim Club will be hosting this sale in the LRCSC parking lot on May 7, 2011 (tomorrow!!). Individuals from the Team, Club, and local community may rent space in the parking lot and set up their “store” alongside others to sell their best garage & yard sale/vendor items. The parking lot will have a limited number of single (8 ft X 18 ft) and double (16 ft X 18 ft) spaces available on a first-come first-served basis to rent to interested individuals. Proceeds from the sales of goods will be retained entirely by the individual renting the space. We hope to make this an annual event to help our members and local partners clean out those unneeded/unwanted items cluttering up the garage, basement, and/or living space while assisting our fundraising activities. Additional details below.

Details of the Garage and Yard Sale:

• All merchandise and vendor sales will be constrained to the LRCSC Parking Lot. Hours of sales will be 8 am – 1 pm, 7 May 11.
• 77 parking lot slots (8’ X 18’) will be available for rent for the period 4 am – 2 pm, 7 May 11. Slots will be rented on a first come, first served basis.
• Prices of slots are as follows: 1 8X18 slot - $10 2 8X18 combined slots (1 16X18 area) - $15 (largest combined lot available, multiple contiguous slots may be rented)
• Vehicles may not be parked in the rented slot during the sale hours and must be moved to a legal parking spot on adjacent streets.
• Canopies may be set up on the rented slot providing they do not encroach on adjacent slots.
• 24 parking slots (including two handicapped) in the LRCSC parking lot will be available during the sale hours (8 am – 1 pm) for shoppers to park.
• Event will be held rain or shine. In the event of serious weather (lightning, thunder, or high winds) the LRCSC and LRST BoDs may elect to cancel the event for safety reasons.
• The LRCSC and LRST do not endorse, warrant, or assume responsibility for any products or services being sold.
• The LRCSC and LRST are both 501(c) non-profit organizations and all contributions are tax deductible.
